WHO WE ARE
Das House of Prayer Port Moresby (HOP POM) ist ein Ort, an dem Tag und Nacht gemeinsam vor dem Thron Gottes gebetet , Fürbitte geleistet und der Ruf nach Gerechtigkeit erschallt. Wir haben uns verpflichtet, dem Leib Christi zu dienen, damit er seinen Platz im Land einnimmt. Wir sind eine „STIMME“, die die Menschen aufruft, sich auf die Wiederkunft Jesu vorzubereiten.
Papua New Guinea (PNG) is a beautiful country, with many cultures and languages, rivers and jungles and mountains, and a land of the unexpected. But PNG is struggling with corruption and domestic violence. We have the highest HIV rate in the Pacific. Sam from PNG: “My cousin (26 years old, Mom of one child) and her baby died during delivery in September 2016. The equipment in the Health Centres is limited, medicine always runs out. This shouldn’t be daily routine in the 21. century!”
Gott sprach zu Sam aus dem Buch Nehemia, Kapitel 1: …“ Genau wie Jerusalem sind die geistlichen Mauern von Papua-Neuguinea niedergerissen und Ihr Volk lebt in Schande. Genau wie Nehemiah rufe ich Sie auf, ein rund um die Uhr geöffnetes Gebetshaus zu errichten, um die geistlichen Mauern und Tore von PNG wieder aufzubauen.“
Wir glauben, dass Papua-Neuguinea Menschen wie die hartnäckige Witwe in Lukas 18 braucht, die nach Gerechtigkeit ruft, bis sie im Land etabliert ist. Menschen, die sich demütigen, beten, bereuen und sein Angesicht suchen. Dann wird Er vom Himmel hören, ihre Sünden vergeben und ihr Land heilen. (2. Chronik 7:14-15) 1875 hörte Papua-Neuguinea zum ersten Mal das Evangelium. Viele europäische Missionare waren Teil der Pionierarbeit in PNG. 2007 schloss die Nation einen Bund mit dem Gott Israels. Aber wir kämpfen immer noch darum, es zu halten. Weitere Durchbrüche im Gebet sind erforderlich! Deshalb wollen wir in Port Moresby ein Haus des Gebets errichten.

We believe prayer and missions belong together. That’s why we have two ministry expressions: a house of prayer in the capital and a bush clinic in the province of New Ireland. The House of prayer is established to serve the body of Christ to take its place in the nation and to see justice released in PNG. The bush clinic is the mercy arm of the house of prayer. Its goal is to save lives and improve health care for the people in New Ireland.
REBUILDING THE WALLOF JUSTICE

Chronicles 7: 14-15 and Luke 18:1-8. |
